Par-tay at Grandma and Pa-pa's place

Grandma and Grandpa Higgins had their hands full last weekend watching Jared and Jacob, so we thought we'd crash their party and make their hands be a little "fuller".

On Sunday afternoon we went to Warrenton so that the boys could play with Jared and Jacob, their cousins. They had a great time together. Logan followed Jared around. Jared was pretty good at showing him the ropes.

Anytime Jared would suggest something, Logan would say, "O-tay." After a while, though, Jared got  tired of a 2 year old. He came in and said, "Jackie-a, Logan keeps asking me where'd the frog go? over and over and over and over and over." I smiled and said, "sorry, he's a 2 year old. They do stuff like that!"
We took the boys outside to keep them entertained. They liked playing in the pool. Uncle Brian gave them a little extra cold water out of the house.

Then we all went down to the lake (in Grandma and Grandpa's backyard. Lucky!) Logan got to take his first boat ride with daddy.

Jared waited on the shore for his turn to go in the boat with Pa-pa.

Of course, Pa-pa jumped IN the lake for a swim! Then Pa-pa took Logan for a swim in the lake. Logan just laid on his back and floated with his eyes closed. Such a little water bug.
The babies went down to the lake too. Uncle Brian and Kari got lots of baby time!

I'm pretty sure Tyson is saying to Jacob, "Dude, you're hilarious!"

I'm pretty sure Jacob is saying, "Let's get out of here. They put a hat on you but I'm in full sun here. WHERE IS MY MOMMY?"

So, the baby boys went inside. Then all the boys had a little wrestle-mania, snacks, toy time, etc.

My kids were SO TIRED after playing all day. Logan fell asleep as we were getting on to Interstate 70 on the Warrenton exit. He slept from 5:30 pm until 7 am the next day!!!
