He slept 8 hours

... in a row! On Saturday night, Logan actually slept for 8 hours straight. I have been dreaming of this night and my dreams finally came true! He slept from 9:30-5:30, ate, and then slept about an hour longer!! I was one happy momma. He didn't have a repeat performance last night, but he still slept pretty good... 4-5 hour stretches.
Logan is now 8 weeks old. 8 week pictures coming soon!

4 boys in one year

My wonderful college roomates, Holly, Jessica, Kate, and I somehow pulled off the feat of each having a baby boy in less than a years time. We recently got together with all 4 baby boys.
Everett is Holly's baby. He is the oldest. He was born last August.

Next comes Caleb, Jessica's baby. He was born in January.

Logan and Kellen are our 2 May babies. Here is Kate with Kellen.

Logan is just 2 weeks older than Kellen, but somehow a lot longer!

We love all of Logan's friends and their mommies!

Playtime

Logan is a fun baby. He is beginning to interact and smile and coo more often. Here are some of his favorite things to do...

He loves his daddy. They hang out on the couch and watch TV or look at daddy's computer.

He also loves to play with his "spidey" that Aunt Jan sent him from Wyoming. Here he is playing with Grandpa Bradley and spidey.

He loves his bath time.

He also likes to sit in his bouncer and kick spidey!

Of course, he loves books and loves to hear me read him stories.

He is now 7 weeks old. Aunt Julie took some really cute 7 week old pictures of him but I haven't downloaded them to my computer yet. You can find them at her website www.youbelong.net/pruett along with my adorable nephew Nick!

One Year Anniversary

Yesterday was our one year wedding anniversary. We celebrated by going out to dinner at Olive Garden and spending time at home, kid free! Logan got to spend the evening at Grandma and Grandpa Bradley's house. He sat out in the sun room with them and looked outside, his favorite pasttime.

On Sunday, Father's day, he spent the afternoon with Grandma Higgins while Mommy went to the land with the two "Fathers" (Glenn and Greg). So, Logan has had two days of constant spoiling and attention and I think he's worn out from it. He's napping right now!

Greg and I have had a busy first year of marriage.

We started remodeling our condo last April, before we got married and before Greg moved in. Once he moved in he had to redo everything, so every wall has been painted, every popcorn ceiling removed, and we have all new windows. It's beautiful... and it's on the market!

We bought a house on April 17, 2008. It is located at 31 Anawood in Arnold. It is a 3 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath ranch with a two car garage and a HUGE deck. It is located on a 1 acre wooded lot that overlooks a valley. It is the most peaceful place! It was a foreclosure home so we got a great deal on it, but it also means that in the midst of pregnancy, birthing a baby, and having a newborn we have to remodel another house. Here is our house on Anawood.

Of course, we had Logan on May 1, 2008. So, it's been a busy, busy year. But it's been an awesome year full of God's blessings! Through the stress of remodeling houses, buying and (hopefully) selling houses, and having a newborn baby, my relationship with Greg has strengthened. Our friendship has deepened and I've learned to be more trusting and work together on things instead of being totally independent. It's been a great year.

I pray that God continues to bless our marriage and our family. We are off on an exciting journey and I am anxious to see the path that God takes us down!

New Mom Stuff

Did you know that if you're taking a shower and your baby starts crying you should let him cry? Do not get out of the shower dripping wet and attempt to force a pacifier in his mouth. You will end up with a wet baby who holds the wet spot on his shirt and looks at you accusingly like this. Some of you already knew that. For the rest of you future mommies, take note.

(Luckily he is easy to console... which is a good thing because his daddy loves to splash people with water!)

Hunn Family Camp out

Logan went to his first Hunn family Camp out on June 7. We didn't camp. We just went for the day. Logan got to go caving with daddy. He also got to hang out with Grandma and Grandpa Bradley while his mommy and daddy took a bike ride. They took him on a stroller ride with his cousin Nick and read books to the boys in the air conditioned camper... rough camping, huh? Logan loves to hear his cousin Nick talk! We didn't get to float because the Meremac was flooded.

It was a great day and a relaxing break for mommy and daddy. Here is our family at our first Hunn family camp out.

Grandma and Grandpa and Nick with the strawberry pie... no, they didn't feed the whole thing to Nick!

Baby Loves Bach

Here is a picture I took of Logan while he was listening to Bach. He was very contented. He didn't seem so happy with Brahams, sorry Aunt Julie :(

Logan is now one month old! He is sleeping pretty good and eating a lot!! He is also losing his baby hair.
