Good Friday

On Good Friday, my sister and I took our kids to celebrate Easter with Grandma and Grandpa Bradley.
We colored Easter eggs and put stickers on them.
We also opened the resurrection eggs.
We had pizza and coconut cake and candy for Easter lunch. (Later that night Logan told me, "belly hurt.") Not the best lunch for a 23 month old kid, I guess!
Nick said the prayer for lunch. It was a very good Easter prayer. It went something like, "Thank you, God for Easter and the true meaning of Easter is that Jesus came and died on the cross for our sins and it's not about candy and eggs it's about Jesus dying on the cross for us." It was basically a mini-sermon but he's got it right!!
Then we went outside and hunted for Easter eggs. My dad had a section for Logan, a section for Alex, and a section for Nick. He had labeled each egg with the first letter of their names so they each got their own egg and there were no fights.
Logan got to hunt for eggs with Grandma.

He liked having her to help.

Logan hunting eggs in his section.

Alex hunting eggs in his section.
Nick was the slowest egg hunter. He had to open each egg and look inside as he found it. Cracked me up! (no pun intended).

Tyson didn't get a section for the egg hunt but he did get to come outside!

Logan really liked getting his own eggs.
The boys jumped on the trampoline.

The boys all played on the swingset.

Then we came inside to check the "loot". Grandma keeps busy with all four of her boys!

After the egg hunts, Logan and Tyson took naps while Nick and Alex went on wagon rides. Then all the boys played in the basement together. I think they were all wiped out by the time we left!
