One Year Anniversary

Yesterday was our one year wedding anniversary. We celebrated by going out to dinner at Olive Garden and spending time at home, kid free! Logan got to spend the evening at Grandma and Grandpa Bradley's house. He sat out in the sun room with them and looked outside, his favorite pasttime.

On Sunday, Father's day, he spent the afternoon with Grandma Higgins while Mommy went to the land with the two "Fathers" (Glenn and Greg). So, Logan has had two days of constant spoiling and attention and I think he's worn out from it. He's napping right now!

Greg and I have had a busy first year of marriage.

We started remodeling our condo last April, before we got married and before Greg moved in. Once he moved in he had to redo everything, so every wall has been painted, every popcorn ceiling removed, and we have all new windows. It's beautiful... and it's on the market!

We bought a house on April 17, 2008. It is located at 31 Anawood in Arnold. It is a 3 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath ranch with a two car garage and a HUGE deck. It is located on a 1 acre wooded lot that overlooks a valley. It is the most peaceful place! It was a foreclosure home so we got a great deal on it, but it also means that in the midst of pregnancy, birthing a baby, and having a newborn we have to remodel another house. Here is our house on Anawood.

Of course, we had Logan on May 1, 2008. So, it's been a busy, busy year. But it's been an awesome year full of God's blessings! Through the stress of remodeling houses, buying and (hopefully) selling houses, and having a newborn baby, my relationship with Greg has strengthened. Our friendship has deepened and I've learned to be more trusting and work together on things instead of being totally independent. It's been a great year.

I pray that God continues to bless our marriage and our family. We are off on an exciting journey and I am anxious to see the path that God takes us down!
