Tyson is five months old today. He's changed so much in the last month. He loves to play on the floor and roll around to try and get all of the toys. He talks a lot and very loudly!! He loves to smile and laugh! And he's so ticklish! He also drools. a lot!! There is more drool coming out of that mouth in a minute than oil coming out of the oil well in the gulf. (Not to be insensitive, people). As a result of his constant drooling, he has developed a bad rash on his face. He has persevered, though, and it's getting much better--- with LOTS of outfit changes and bib changes throughout the day to keep him super dry!
Tyson also loves the outdoors, loves to go on walks. He loves his brother, Logan... except when Logan roars at Tyson to make him cry! He loves to go to church. He has been the only baby in the nursery at church during first service. I think he likes all of the attention. I loves his mommy and daddy and gives us the best smiles!
Tyson has also started solid foods. He has had rice cereal, bananas, green beans, peas, and peaches. He has only had a few jars of store bought baby food. Since it's summer, I'm hoping to make a lot of his food from fresh produce.
He can also sit up for a few seconds at a time.
I've started doing a few little activities with him-- working on balance, reading books, doing music time, and sensory activities. I really feel blessed to have my 2 boys!
